Introducing Yourself in ASL

For WH-questions in ASL, you must tilt your head and lower your brows.
You can practice signing with me with the video above or practice signing with another signer below. The male signer fingerspelled his first name and not his sign name. You will learn to fingerspell your name in class soon.

You will notice the male signer points to himself and used the “ME” and “YOU” signs instead of using the “MY” and “YOUR” signs. Both signs are used in the deaf community and will be acceptable to use in my class.
